K.Darrow’s Afro-Sintfu Experiment Pays Off

African beats, trap and Swati instruments open the scene and set the tone for K.Darrow’s new single titled Masiyekele. The Swati lyricist brings a fresh tune that talks about how good love is when it’s still new and the man has coins, compared to the troubles that start when he is going through a rough season with no consistent income.

The release of Masiyekele is accompanied by a visualizer available on K.Darrow’s YouTube channel. The visuals were shot by aLaSea Visuals at Sidwashini, Mbabane with a few people featured in the video which gives the viewer clarity and allows the listener to focus on the message.

Released on 20 May 2026, Masiyekele brings a different mood to it; I think it can also inspire other local artists to play around with different beats and fuse them with our SiSwati language.

K.Darrow’s flow is undeniable; the man has been doing the work and his digital footprint dates back 7 years. That’s plenty of time to master one’s rhythm and sound. I do see how a lot of people will relate and gravitate towards this jam.

The video shot by aLaSea Visuals is giving that 4k quality; they managed to make everything work without complicating things. The lyrics are catchy and the Afro-beat fusion or better termed Afro-Sintfu is the cornerstone of the song.
