Mzwaa is in a different season in his career right now; he’s releasing music and videos frequently, his features are top selection, and it all seems strategically played out. 27 March 2026 he released another single Love The Way which has an interesting intro that starts with humming and guitar strings.
This intro I find to be of the similar concept used in Caught Up, his previous single before this love song. With these two songs he starts with the chorus before the intro/opening verse. Love The Way features RnB sensation Zinia, one of the best singers in the country who have good vocal strength and variation, whether she’s performing live or its being played from a streaming platform. This new release by Mzwaa is ushering us into the winter season.
In his opening verse, he says, “ You are the one that pulled me from the fire” and it just sounds right. I feel so aligned to his style of writing. He sounds very relaxed and, in his element, bringing in some of the “Mzwaa Nuances” if I can call them that.
Zinia formerly known as Mbali Gamedze sings soulful music, but her voice carries versatility that allows her to dabble into different genres without interruption. The fusion of Mzwaa and Zinia is beautiful and romantic. Mentally this song sets a candlelight atmosphere that makes the idea of falling in love so enticing. 2:15 seconds into the song, Zinia comes in and her voice instantly draws us into a different frequency that makes Love The Way R&B ultra.
Love The Way is a warm ballad, it’s the beat, the guitar, vocalists and the rest of the production team that brings it all together. There are other elements outside of production that drew my attention such as the cover art. The painting was done by iits_thandeka and the graphics by Grixxly and both those elements do capture the essence of the song.
